One of Navata AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of REAL SOCIEDAD:s goal. Gerardo Escobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bibiano Herrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Navata AD's goal looked a bit too open when Albi Zapatero came free, but Gerardo Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bibiano Herrero in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Escobar saved Navata AD from getting behind. Albi Zapatero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Navata AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
