Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Beturian Reina started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Hontecillas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Miñano Mayor:s goal. Garikoitz Castellano went to the wrong direction when Chico Justo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Miñano Mayor's Lolo Aballe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Miñano Mayor from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Hontecillas getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Generoso Jaraba hit a great ball. Beturian Reina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garikoitz Castellano having to interfere. Hontecillas's Marcos Vega got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Asensio Fernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miñano Mayor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hontecillas the free kick. After 30 played minutes Miñano Mayor got a freekick which was hit by Asensio Fernandez. Beturian Reina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garikoitz Castellano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Hontecillas's goal looked a bit too open when Beturian Reina came free, but Garikoitz Castellano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
If Generoso Jaraba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Jaraba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lolo Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lolo Aballe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Jaraba in the 64th minute of the match. Garikoitz Castellano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beturian Reina in the 69th minute of play. Lolo Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Vega in the 94th minute of play. Although Hontecillas had been in control for most of the match, Miñano Mayor still came away with the win.
