Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lecaun SD's Toni Huarte started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aparicio Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the last second Jacob Benedicto throw himself and got hold of the ball when Claudinei Negri in the 6thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Lecaun SD's zone, Marcio Castaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Benedicto came out of the goal and Marcio Castaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacob Benedicto made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Claudinei Negri sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudinei Negri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacob Benedicto. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 17th minute, Marcio Castaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alirio Baltanas fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lecaun SD's protests and gave Alirio Baltanas a yellow card for diving instead. Alirio Baltanas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jacob Benedicto made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Marcio Castaño sent off a good shot on target. Hercules C.F.'s Aparicio Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Domenech in the 21st minute of play. Toni Huarte took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aparicio Pena. Aparicio Pena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Aparicio Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Marques in the 25th minute of play. Aparicio Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Huarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Hercules C.F.'s Claudinei Negri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Jacob Benedicto made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Marcio Castaño sent off a good shot on target. Claudinei Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jacob Benedicto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcio Castaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Benedicto having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Lecaun SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alirio Baltanas to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match, Marcio Castaño got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacob Benedicto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The wind increased when Marcio Castaño made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, one of Lecaun SD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 63 minutes into the game, Aurre Cuadrado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lecaun SD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hercules C.F. the free kick. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Hercules C.F.. David Quijana stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jacob Benedicto. 5-1. In the 68th minute, Claudinei Negri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacob Benedicto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. 73 minutes into the match, Hercules C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Toni Huarte came free, but Aparicio Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Lecaun SD defense, Marcio Castaño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacob Benedicto. The Lecaun SD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacob Benedicto should have stopped the shot. Aparicio Pena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Marques in the 82nd minute. Marcio Castaño might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacob Benedicto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcio Castaño ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute, Marcio Castaño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hercules C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hercules C.F. fully deserved thier win.
