Marcial Nueva might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio De la Torre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcial Nueva ran back to his position shaking his head. Pueblo Nuevo De San Rafael AFC's Braulio De la Torre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mergildo Valdés in the 18th minute of play. Natxo Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Mergildo Valdés had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio De la Torre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Nueva in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Pueblo Nuevo De San Rafael AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mergildo Valdés fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mergildo Valdés sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Marcial Nueva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pueblo Nuevo De San Rafael AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Marcial Nueva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Braulio De la Torre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pueblo Nuevo De San Rafael AFC's Cambranes Campomanes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gaizka Lama but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Pueblo Nuevo De San Rafael AFC's zone, Marcial Nueva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio De la Torre came out of the goal and Marcial Nueva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braulio De la Torre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mergildo Valdés in the 68th minute of the match. Natxo Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Oselle got a freekick which was hit by Artzai Calvo. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Almarín Rua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pueblo Nuevo De San Rafael AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Almarín Rua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaizka Lama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 85 minutes, Felip Cabrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pueblo Nuevo De San Rafael AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felip Cabrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Felip Cabrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 99 minutes of play, Oselle's Mergildo Valdés made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio De la Torre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oselle's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
