Juan-Alfredo Bajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Alonso having to interfere. When Graciano Gonzáles was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 23 minutes had been played. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Juan-Alfredo Bajo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pablo Iglesias's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan-Alfredo Bajo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Alonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Solar System getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bernat Torres hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aitor Ziguenza during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pablo Iglesias's Aitor Ziguenza got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Eli Folch came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Solar System fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eli Folch couldn't finish the play. Solar System's Joachim Mora got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eli Folch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Iglesias's Florencio Gil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Pablo Iglesias from getting a goal against them. If Juan-Alfredo Bajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan-Alfredo Bajo in the 40th minute of play. Juan-Alfredo Bajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. The referee ignored Pablo Iglesias's protests and gave Agapito Moya a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Solar System booed when Pablo Iglesias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agapito Moya didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pablo Iglesias's zone, Paulin Riells stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Gil came out of the goal and Paulin Riells tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Pablo Iglesias's Martín Ballesteros got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solar System's goalkeeper Juan Alonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes in the game, Altzibar Puig fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Juan Alonso having to interfere. Florencio Gil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eli Folch in the 66th minute of the match. Eli Folch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Florencio Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
