Cordario Bouzas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lekumberri Amer having to interfere. Ginés Tormes made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ginés Tormes. In the 20th minute Ginés Tormes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anartz Losada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordario Bouzas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lekumberri Amer having to interfere. If Airas Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 34 minutes on the clock, Vistruario Balcells commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 33 minutes into the game, one of Marca Blanca Cartagena:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Toni Puyol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anartz Losada having to interfere. Marca Blanca Cartagena's Toño Morientes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anartz Losada in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cordario Bouzas made a kick off. Adán Martinez hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Toni Puyol managed to get in a good position for a shot. The supporters of Fontanars Dels Alforins UD booed when Marca Blanca Cartagena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordario Bouzass short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Lekumberri Amer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lekumberri Amer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casildo Gasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anartz Losada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Puyol in the 96th minute of play.
