Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 5 minutes, Nicanor Casta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Casta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bingen Camarasa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baraquiel Noya came out and tried to block the shot, but Bingen Camarasa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. The supporters of Racing de Montmeló booed when Villena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Casta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petronio Cartagena might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baraquiel Noya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petronio Cartagena ran back to his position shaking his head. If Denis Orbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ventura Pais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uhin Redondo having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Racing de Montmeló got a freekick which was hit by Telesforo Ricoy. Ventura Pais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Uhin Redondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Izar Casanova got in the 25th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Uhin Redondo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Baraquiel Noya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Orbiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Petronio Cartagena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baraquiel Noya was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Baraquiel Noya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Orbiz in the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Racing de Montmeló's goal looked a bit too open when Izar Casanova came free, but Uhin Redondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petronio Cartagena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baraquiel Noya having to interfere. Denis Orbiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petronio Cartagena got free with Baraquiel Noya in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Izar Casanova stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uhin Redondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izar Casanova in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Izar Casanova fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Uhin Redondo, passed just outside the right post. Baraquiel Noya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Orbiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ventura Pais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd of the match, Izar Casanova tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Uhin Redondo got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a rather tough play, Villena's Inautzi Belalcaraz got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes, Racing de Montmeló's Antxoka Prieto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baraquiel Noya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Racing de Montmeló reached it. In the 80th match minute, Racing de Montmeló was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antxoka Prieto to maneuver through the defense. If Denis Orbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ventura Pais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Uhin Redondo made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Racing de Montmeló:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villena:s goal. The goalkeeper, Uhin Redondo, was totally fooled by Villena's Gabi Bermudez, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 92nd minute, Barros Bajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baraquiel Noya came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Racing de Montmeló's Denis Orbiz. But to his dismay, Denis Orbiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to Villena getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Nicanor Casta hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
