After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Denis Orbiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing de Montmeló's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Orbiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordi Villa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Amadeo De Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Egara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing de Montmeló the free kick. When Ponciano Sobera fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egara's protests and gave Ponciano Sobera a yellow card for diving instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
