Desamparados CF's Jacobo Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Ruiz in the 6th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Desamparados CF's goal looked a bit too open when Miliano Cazorla came free, but Jacobo Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Desamparados CF's goal looked a bit too open when Abad Revuelta came free, but Jacobo Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentín Urquijo in the 16th minute of play forced Desamparados CF's goalkeeper Jacobo Acosta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Urquijo in the 17th minute of play. Guadalcacín Del Caudillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentín Urquijo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Acosta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes in the game Peter Murcia did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Abad Revuelta. Froilan Macia kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Ruiz in the 37th minute of play forced Desamparados CF's goalkeeper Jacobo Acosta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, William Ruiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Acosta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaiet Barroso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Valentín Urquijo in the 51stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jacobo Acosta had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Jacobo Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Ruiz in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Desamparados CF's Kaiet Barroso got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jacobo Acosta was a little too slow when Valentín Urquijo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-4. The throw-in from Peter Murcia in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Desamparados CF's Kaiet Barroso. Peter Murcia made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Abad Revuelta however managed to control. Jacobo Acosta made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Valentín Urquijo sent off a good shot on target. Valentín Urquijo took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Acosta. Jacobo Acosta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 67 minutes into the game, William Ruiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guadalcacín Del Caudillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desamparados CF the free kick. William Ruiz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Jacobo Acosta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaiet Barroso's late challenge caught a Guadalcacín Del Caudillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaiet Barroso helped the player get up and apologised. Kaiet Barroso hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Ruiz in the 74th minute of play forced Desamparados CF's goalkeeper Jacobo Acosta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Desamparados CF's Vicente Climent in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guadalcacín Del Caudillo's goalie prevented a goal. After 84 minutes, Peter Murcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guadalcacín Del Caudillo and the Desamparados CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was beautiful to see Desamparados CF's Vicente Climent in action when he in the 88th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Kaiet Barroso scored 1-5 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prudencio Leyva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Climent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Leyva having to interfere. The Guadalcacín Del Caudillo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guadalcacín Del Caudillo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
