Carmelo Rajoi took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Castelao. Mateo Castelao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Basílio Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Castelao having to interfere. When RACING Club's Basílio Amorim in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Central Almadenes SD's protests and gave Frutos Diaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Carmelo Rajoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Castelao was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. RACING Club's Montxo Griful played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaizka Valcarcel in the 28th minute of play. Basílio Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, Carmelo Rajoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACING Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Rajoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basílio Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Castelao having to interfere. After 35 minutes, Dario Sierra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Central Almadenes SD and the RACING Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Central Almadenes SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Sierra to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Amorim in the 37th minute of play forced Central Almadenes SD's goalkeeper Mateo Castelao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Castelao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Rajoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Central Almadenes SD's Xilo Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Montxo Griful made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Central Almadenes SD booed when RACING Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiz Pareja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Dario Sierra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute RACING Club were awarded a corner. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Rajoi made a kick off. If Basílio Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. During the 70th minute of the match Dario Sierra completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dario Sierra a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mateo Castelao was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Basílio Amorim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 78 minute of play. Mateo Castelao was a little too slow when Carmelo Rajoi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-5. Basílio Amorim scored 1-6 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Castelao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basílio Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Mateo Castelao made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Basílio Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Mateo Castelao to make any attempt to save it. Mateo Castelao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Arias in the 96th minute of the match.
