BARCELONA's Carlito Palomar got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Otero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xilo Pardo in the 12th minute. Igor Otero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaizka Valcarcel's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Gaizka Valcarcel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Gaizka Valcarcel took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Igor Otero to make any attempt to save it. In the 25th minute Mauro Vacas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Castelao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Vacas scored 2-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Castelao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xilo Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, FC. BARCELONA's goalkeeper Igor Otero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xilo Pardo. After having played for 43 minutes, Carlito Palomar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC. BARCELONA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlito Palomar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaizka Valcarcel was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Gaizka Valcarcel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Otero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Dario Sierra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juan-Alfredo Lopez's late challenge caught a Central Almadenes SD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan-Alfredo Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Central Almadenes SD booed when FC. BARCELONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Alfredo Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gaizka Valcarcel came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Central Almadenes SD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaizka Valcarcel couldn't finish the play. FC. BARCELONA's Carlito Palomar got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC. BARCELONA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Central Almadenes SD.
