If Maximiliano Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th match minute, Albacete UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomualdo Barral to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Calmarza SAD booed when Albacete UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Vacas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pietro Font received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ventura Fernandez came out and tried to block the shot, but Pietro Font slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Albacete UD's zone, Aya Figueres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ventura Fernandez came out of the goal and Aya Figueres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Albacete UD defense, Pietro Font kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ventura Fernandez. The Albacete UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ventura Fernandez should have stopped the shot. Aya Figueres hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Demetrio Encina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Jurado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Jubera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ventura Fernandez having to interfere. Tiburcio Jubera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ventura Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Jubera in the 40th minute of the match. Ventura Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pietro Font in the 41st minute. Angelo Jurado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Encina in the 43rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Jubera in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ventura Fernandez saved Albacete UD from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiburcio Jubera to make the kick off. Pietro Font sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albacete UD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Jubera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Tiburcio Jubera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ventura Fernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Pietro Font sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Calmarza SAD's Aya Figueres got a free kick in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Demetrio Encina lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Angelo Jurado. Angelo Jurado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Demetrio Encina went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Angelo Jurado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Encina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Calmarza SAD were the better team. Calmarza SAD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
