If Montes Cardeñosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Oinaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaitz Solo in the 15th minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Arnaitz Solo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YIYINO FC's Matias Oinaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Montiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Kiko Diaz made a huge save. YIYINO FC's Matias Oinaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Montes Cardeñosa in the 31st minute of play. Mark Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Diaz having to interfere. Kiko Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Navarro in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Mark Navarro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kiko Diaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 45th play minutes Mark Navarro shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Kiko Diaz and just under the crossbar into goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Navarro to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Montes Cardeñosa got free with Matias Oinaz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Punta De Mujeres CF's zone, Mark Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko Diaz came out of the goal and Mark Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damario Verdeja hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Navarro in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kiko Diaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 minutes, Pepe Cayuela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YIYINO FC and the Punta De Mujeres CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute Arnaitz Solo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Oinaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Montiel in the 75th minute of play forced Punta De Mujeres CF's goalkeeper Kiko Diaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Montiel in the 77th minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Fernando Montiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Punta De Mujeres CF's Kiko Diaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kiko Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Montiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaitz Solo in the 85th minute of play forced YIYINO FC's goalkeeper Matias Oinaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the Punta De Mujeres CF defense, Fernando Montiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kiko Diaz. The Punta De Mujeres CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kiko Diaz should have stopped the shot. Enetz Rey hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Matias Oinaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Montes Cardeñosa in the 96th minute. Fernando Montiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
