Estebano Ziguenza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pere Ferrer having to interfere. Loramendi Duran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Silvino Nobo made a huge save. In the 20th match minute, Hyrule was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan-Carlos Titos to maneuver through the defense. If Estebano Ziguenza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loramendi Duran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Silvino Nobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pere Ferrer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estebano Ziguenza, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Independiente's Pere Ferrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estebano Ziguenza in the 38th minute of play. If Argider Aguilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Argider Aguilar to strike the kick off in the second half. Argider Aguilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Pere Ferrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Zafrilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Loramendi Duran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvino Nobo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When Loramendi Duran came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loramendi Duran couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Argider Aguilar took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Pere Ferrer to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Estebano Ziguenza during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Hyrule got a freekick which was hit by Estebano Ziguenza. In the 77thth minute of the game Rodrigo Zafrilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hyrule's Silvino Nobo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Independiente reached it. In the 95th minute, Telesforo Belalcaraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Cutberto Amer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hyrule's Silvino Nobo didn't even have to move.
