Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alanzo Maestro made the kick off and thus started the match. 9 minutes into the game, Paulino Bellido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villanopa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. In the 9th minute, Paulino Bellido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pere Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alanzo Maestro in the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alanzo Maestro in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pere Ferrer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Hevia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Zafrilla in the 23rd minute of the match. Hector Hevia came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Polo Carballeira. But to his dismay, Polo Carballeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente's goalkeeper Pere Ferrer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34thth minute of the game Alanzo Maestro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente's Pere Ferrer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pere Ferrer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Nobo in the 39th minute. Sancho Fuster hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Villanopa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loramendi Duran came free, but Hector Hevia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Zafrilla to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ranolfo Lacorte in the 55th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Pere Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alanzo Maestro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pere Ferrer having to interfere. Domingo Nobo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Hector Hevia made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Loramendi Duran sent off a good shot on target. Loramendi Duran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Hevia having to interfere. Rodrigo Zafrilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Hevia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Zafrilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loramendi Duran might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector Hevia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loramendi Duran ran back to his position shaking his head. Dalmai Incera charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmai Incera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pere Ferrer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ranolfo Lacorte, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Villanopa FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Independiente's performance. The match ended with a win for Independiente.
