Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Can Boixader's Canor Marquez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Selmo Hidalgo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Can Boixader's Saturnin Toledo. Saturnin Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Selmo Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Ostadar Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Camara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Canor Marquez in the 14th minute of the match. When Jago Madariaga came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Can Boixader fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jago Madariaga couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, RCD. Espanyol's goal looked a bit too open when Canor Marquez came free, but Nicasio Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicasio Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Canor Marquez in the 32nd minute of play. Canor Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Selmo Hidalgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Locaio Olano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnin Toledo having to interfere. Jago Madariaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Selmo Hidalgo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saturnin Toledo. Saturnin Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Can Boixader players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RCD. Espanyol were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Locaio Olano to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes, RCD. Espanyol's Desiderio Mondejar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saturnin Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RCD. Espanyol reached it. 56 minutes into the match, Can Boixader's goal looked a bit too open when Locaio Olano came free, but Saturnin Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jago Madariaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Canor Marquez in the 62nd minute of play forced RCD. Espanyol's goalkeeper Nicasio Camara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iñaki Novo during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in RCD. Espanyol fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Can Boixader a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. Nicasio Camara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jago Madariaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Camara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Canor Marquez in the 74th minute of the match. When Locaio Olano came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the RCD. Espanyol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Locaio Olano couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Jago Madariaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicasio Camara was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Can Boixader were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of RCD. Espanyol for a fine match.
