Naldo Losantos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnau Lastras in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Calella De Palafrugell AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Uhin Echavarri hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnau Lastras kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Naldo Losantos. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Uhin Echavarri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calella De Palafrugell AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quitapenas UAD the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Calella De Palafrugell AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uhin Echavarri to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Naldo Losantos managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Quitapenas UAD's Juan-Francisco Leon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Micael Marin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zumar Diez was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Micael Marin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zumar Diez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Zumar Diez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikel Marines in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Calella De Palafrugell AFC booed when Quitapenas UAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apal Azofra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Micael Marin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calella De Palafrugell AFC's Uhin Echavarri got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Uhin Echavarri off the ground. After 46 played minutes Calella De Palafrugell AFC got a freekick which was hit by Uhin Echavarri. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnau Lastras to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnau Lastras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naldo Losantos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnau Lastras in the 55th minute of play. Juan-Francisco Leon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Arnau Lastras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naldo Losantos was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 59th match minute, Quitapenas UAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliviero Herrera to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikel Marines got free with Zumar Diez in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnau Lastras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Losantos having to interfere. Juan-Francisco Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Losantos having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Quitapenas UAD's goalkeeper Zumar Diez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikel Marines. Mikel Marines came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zumar Diez could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Quitapenas UAD's Apal Azofra got a free kick in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quitapenas UAD's zone, Mikel Marines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zumar Diez came out of the goal and Mikel Marines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Garay got free with Zumar Diez in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Arnau Lastras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Quitapenas UAD's Arnau Lastras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naldo Losantos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Calella De Palafrugell AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
