Viviano Cabezas charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viviano Cabezas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Viviano Cabezas kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Barea Losada sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charro Dorado skillfully saved the ball. Fernan Valcarcel kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes in the game, Albano Figueroa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Quilino Alabern having to interfere. If Albano Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pepillo Valines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selmo Dulce in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charro Dorado saved Tarraco FC from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, one of El Toboso AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Toboso AFC. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Tarraco FC's Blas Escobar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Quilino Alabern. Selmo Dulce struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Charro Dorado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Toboso AFC. After 32 minutes of play, El Toboso AFC's Luis Briso made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charro Dorado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Selmo Dulce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charro Dorado having to interfere. A collision led to Tarraco FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ubaldo Arraz hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florinio Castaño made a kick off. When Sergio Baños came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Tarraco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Baños couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipo Sacristán during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Felipo Sacristán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quilino Alabern took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viviano Cabezas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tarraco FC's Pepillo Valines in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Toboso AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Pepillo Valines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Pepillo Valines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quilino Alabern read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Pepillo Valines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Quilino Alabern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Florinio Castaño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charro Dorado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 85th minute of the match Felipo Sacristán shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quilino Alabern showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Tarraco FC booed when El Toboso AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciano Urquijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Toboso AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
