The referee ignored Murchas FC's protests and gave Alba Reina a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute there was a penalty for Badaguas FC. Gilberto Vuelta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sixto Villar. 1-0. A collision led to Murchas FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Belisario Batuecas hit a great ball. Kennet Byström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sixto Villar firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 9 played minutes Murchas FC got a freekick which was hit by Herodes Obis. Sindo santillana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Villar having to interfere. Murchas FC's Sixto Villar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Vuelta in the 14th minute of play. Murchas FC's Sixto Villar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Murchas FC from getting a goal against them. Kennet Byström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Sixto Villar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Badaguas FC defense, Herodes Obis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Gentza. The Badaguas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Gentza should have stopped the shot. Guaberto Quintanilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Badaguas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beti Varela to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Tulio Molina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Gentza. Badaguas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tulio Molina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Sindo santillana got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Vuelta in the 39th minute of play forced Murchas FC's goalkeeper Sixto Villar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sindo santillana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herodes Obis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Sindo santillana struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Sixto Villar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Badaguas FC. After the first half Murchas FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kennet Byström to make the kick off. Guaberto Quintanilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Gentza having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Badaguas FC's Sindo santillana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixto Villar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Murchas FC's Henric Pascual got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sixto Villar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kennet Byström's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Murchas FC's Sixto Villar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Byström in the 67th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kennet Byström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Villar was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Murchas FC defense, Tano Palencia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Villar. The Murchas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Villar should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tulio Molina in the 75th minute of play forced Badaguas FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Gentza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kennet Byström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sixto Villar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Badaguas FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henric Pascual fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Txema Gibert during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Badaguas FC got a freekick which was hit by Txema Gibert. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kennet Byström in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Villar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Txema Gibert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sixto Villar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Tano Palencia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Badaguas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tano Palencia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Villar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Badaguas FC booed when Murchas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucero Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of Murchas FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Badaguas FC had held the ball for most of the match.
