Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) La Bermeja's Fructuoso Iglesias started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jerrold Treviño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Turi Vicente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Fructuoso Iglesias made a precise shot to the right of Turi Vicente. Rodis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11thth minute of the game Fructuoso Iglesias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rodis's Turi Vicente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jerrold Treviño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Rodis defense, Fructuoso Iglesias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Turi Vicente. The Rodis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Turi Vicente should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Fructuoso Iglesias notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Rodis's Turi Vicente. Turi Vicente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fructuoso Iglesias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Turi Vicente came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by La Bermeja's Jerrold Treviño. But to his dismay, Jerrold Treviño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jerrold Treviño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Jerrold Treviño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turi Vicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fructuoso Iglesias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Turi Vicente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Turi Vicente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrold Treviño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fructuoso Iglesias in the 38th minute of play forced Rodis's goalkeeper Turi Vicente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luis Redondo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodis's protests and gave Luis Redondo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Bermeja booed when Rodis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Redondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jerrold Treviño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Bermeja's Jerrold Treviño got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Rodis booed when La Bermeja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekhi De Pedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Bartumeu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerrold Treviño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Turi Vicente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ekhi De Pedro charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ekhi De Pedro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ekhi De Pedro kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Vachon Pujol shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Turi Vicente showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Rodis:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Bermeja:s goal. Bladi Abajas shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 68 played minutes Rodis got a freekick which was hit by Belisario Jaraba. In the 69th minute, La Bermeja's Fructuoso Iglesias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Jerrold Treviño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turi Vicente having to interfere. Fructuoso Iglesias charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fructuoso Iglesias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to La Bermeja getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Fructuoso Iglesias hit a great ball. Olayo Sobrado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustín Coya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Bartumeu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Fructuoso Iglesias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Turi Vicente, 0-6. Rodis's Turi Vicente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Rodis from getting a goal against them. Agustín Coya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Bartumeu in the 98th minute of play. Ekhi De Pedro got his second yellow card in the match during the 98th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 99 played minutes La Bermeja got a freekick which was hit by Ekhi De Pedro. Agustín Coya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Bartumeu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rodis fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Bermeja were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
