One of RUGBYGIMNASIS F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pechon:s goal. Benito Sánchez walked up to take care of the penalty kick. Crispo Torrent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Soto in the 41st minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egoitz Huarte was the one to do the kick off. Cirino Ricoy charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirino Ricoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pechon getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Cirino Ricoy hit a great ball. Crispo Torrent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Soto in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in RUGBYGIMNASIS F.C.'s zone, Egoitz Huarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Velasco came out of the goal and Egoitz Huarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Egoitz Huarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Velasco was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, RUGBYGIMNASIS F.C.'s Goiz Ucero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Crispo Torrent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Domingo in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Nabucodonosor Bacete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute of the match Benito Sánchez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseo Velasco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Egoitz Huarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute.
