Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Agapito Sirvent kicked off to start the match. Rutenio Portillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agapito Sirvent in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Ruiz got free with Rutenio Portillo in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute Agapito Sirvent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutenio Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roldán Dagora kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Federico Gutierrez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rutenio Portillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Soutochao Santa Maria SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roldán Dagora to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Sales CF's Haimar Mala in action when he in the 22nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Rutenio Portillo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Teodosio Ruiz sent off a good shot on target. Milio Candamil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Camara, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Ziguenza got free with Rutenio Portillo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Soutochao Santa Maria SAD's Rutenio Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agapito Sirvent in the 30th minute of play. Sales CF's Teodosio Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 played minutes Sales CF got a freekick which was hit by Bero Camarasa. Elian Rivera charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elian Rivera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Soutochao Santa Maria SAD! A collision led to Sales CF getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rafael Ziguenza hit a great ball. Jerico Grau charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerico Grau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sales CF's Jerico Grau got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Rio Camara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soutochao Santa Maria SAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Rio Camara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milio Candamil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodney Beloki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Rio Camara came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Soutochao Santa Maria SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rio Camara couldn't finish the play. Milio Candamil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodney Beloki's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Milio Candamil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rio Camara in the 57th minute. Milio Candamil was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manolo Diez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 59 minute of play. Rafael Ziguenza kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Rodney Beloki sped through Sales CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Milio Candamil. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodney Beloki got free with Milio Candamil in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodney Beloki got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Milio Candamil handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The supporters of Soutochao Santa Maria SAD booed when Sales CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Ruiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rio Camara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milio Candamil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodney Beloki in the 75th minute. Rodney Beloki did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Milio Candamil 78 minutes into the match. A collision led to Soutochao Santa Maria SAD getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rodney Beloki hit a great ball. The long shot by Roldán Dagora in the 85th minute really tested Milio Candamil's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Sales CF's Milio Candamil got control of the ball when Rodney Beloki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rio Camara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Rio Camara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rodney Beloki in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Milio Candamil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 93rdth minute of the game Rodney Beloki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sales CF's Milio Candamil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Soutochao Santa Maria SAD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
