The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mariano Uria received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luar Abajas came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Uria slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Tino Blazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tirso Talavera in the 7th minute of the match. Tirso Talavera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joey Feliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joey Feliu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Luar Abajas made a huge save. A collision led to C.A. BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anacleto Peña hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Las Quemadas's goal looked a bit too open when Tirso Talavera came free, but Tino Blazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Tirso Talavera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tino Blazquez. Las Quemadas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tirso Talavera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cris Mangas struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tino Blazquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. BOCA JUNIORS. Tino Blazquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tirso Talavera went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 38 played minutes C.A. BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Vincente Sevilla. Luar Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Uria in the 43rd minute of play. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Luar Abajas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. BOCA JUNIORS from getting a goal against them.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Uria to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Mariano Uria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Quemadas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Uria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haimar Velazquez kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Uria came free, but Luar Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cris Mangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luar Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joey Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Tino Blazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cris Mangas in the 89th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
