The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. El Viso CF's Pepe Bodelon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save El Viso CF from getting a goal against them. El Viso CF's Pepe Bodelon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesaro Quijana in the 10th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Cesaro Quijana rounded El Viso CF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Emilio Pastor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcadio Lorenzo in the 18th minute of play. Emilio Pastor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaquiel Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Pepe Bodelon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Urbieta in the 24th minute. Gero Verdaguer kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Zaquiel Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Viso CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaquiel Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Pastor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Yoel Hevia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Viso CF's Pepe Bodelon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save El Viso CF from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Zaquiel Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Pastor was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Rentería AFC's zone, Zaquiel Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Pastor came out of the goal and Zaquiel Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th match minute, El Viso CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaitan Gasso to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesaro Quijana in the 61st minute of play forced El Viso CF's goalkeeper Pepe Bodelon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rentería AFC's goalkeeper Emilio Pastor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Yoel Hevia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berenguer Roca made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cambranes Pareja immediately put the ball in play. 71 minutes into the match, Rentería AFC's goalkeeper Emilio Pastor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alcadio Lorenzo. Emilio Pastor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaquiel Garcia in the 73rd minute. Alcadio Lorenzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Emilio Pastor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Pastor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaquiel Garcia's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Alcadio Lorenzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zaquiel Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Pastor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Despite being the better team, El Viso CF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
