The audience was convinced that Manuel Quintas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Pastor was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Emilio Pastor made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Sancho Palomar sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesaro Quijana in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Camino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Quintas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Pastor having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Sancho Palomar put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Emilio Pastor. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sancho Palomar in the 52nd minute of play forced Rentería AFC's goalkeeper Emilio Pastor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santo Andres during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sancho Palomar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Pastor having to interfere. Omar Camino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesaro Quijana in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Rentería AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Quintas came free, but Emilio Pastor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rentería AFC's Cesaro Quijana in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Emilio Pastor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Quintas in the 78th minute of play. Sancho Palomar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesaro Quijana during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cesaro Quijana kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, Astigarraga's Omar Camino got control of the ball when Peter Urbieta tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Peter Urbieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Pastor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Quintas in the 90th minute of the match.
