But to his dismay, Adolfo Novo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Felipe Aguilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pericles Urbieta fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JB CF's protests and gave Pericles Urbieta a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes JB CF got a freekick which was hit by Pericles Urbieta. Peter Casillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Sansol's Aberri De Silva got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Estebano Rapado. 26 minutes into the match, Adolfo Novo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Viqueira. Sansol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Novo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Cristiano Viqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurin Canyelles in the 32nd minute of play. Etor Ponce De Leon took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Viqueira. Cristiano Viqueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Etor Ponce De Leon was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Facundo Morientes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Viqueira made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Adolfo Novo sent off a good shot on target. If Roi Cifuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sansol getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bela Macia hit a great ball. Sansol's Cristiano Viqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etor Ponce De Leon in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Adolfo Novo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Viqueira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Etor Ponce De Leon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 62 minute of play. Estebano Rapado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Aguilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Cristiano Viqueira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Etor Ponce De Leon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 68 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aberri De Silva during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of JB CF booed when Sansol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aberri De Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Peter Casillas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Estebano Rapado was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Cristiano Viqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Novo in the 78th minute. Estebano Rapado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Casillas in the 83rd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched JB CF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
