Uhin Ruiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Macias Taules having to interfere. If Uhin Ruiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of O Confurco booed when Covet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frodo Vera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Macias Taules made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lia Lacorte in the 26th minute of play. Rogelio Echeto's late challenge caught a O Confurco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogelio Echeto helped the player get up and apologised. When Manolito Roca, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Petri Palomares was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Rogelio Echeto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 32 minutes had been played. After 32 played minutes Covet got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Echeto. Ugaitz Murcia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 35th minute Manolito Roca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petri Palomares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Giraldo De la Torre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Estefan Leon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. O Confurco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Estefan Leon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Estefan Leon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Covet's Uhin Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Estefan Leon made the kick off in the second half. Petri Palomares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolito Roca in the 55th minute. Manolito Roca was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 69th minute, O Confurco's Nicolás Riba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Uhin Ruiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Macias Taules read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Covet's Uhin Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Manolito Roca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petri Palomares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uhin Ruiz in the 92nd minute of play forced O Confurco's goalkeeper Macias Taules to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uhin Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
