Silban Gala was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Egoitz Talavera. Monkey Wrench TEAM OFF's Silban Gala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Colsa in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Tavernoles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cruz Medina to maneuver through the defense. Monkey Wrench TEAM OFF's Vladimiro Iglesias couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tavernoles. Silvano Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berriotxoa Portillo in the 17th minute of play. Fernando Morientes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Silban Gala made a huge save. Berriotxoa Portillo took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvano Paz. Silvano Paz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 30th minute, Berriotxoa Portillo made a precise shot to the right of Silvano Paz. Tavernoles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Tomás Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Dubardo Domingo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Raphael Colsa's late challenge caught a Monkey Wrench TEAM OFF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Colsa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Tavernoles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Colsa to maneuver through the defense. Raphael Colsa kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Monkey Wrench TEAM OFF's Silban Gala got control of the ball when Fernando Morientes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 minutes, Yoel Moya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monkey Wrench TEAM OFF and the Tavernoles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yoel Moya kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When William Rivas fell near the penalty area in the 49th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monkey Wrench TEAM OFF's protests and gave William Rivas a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Morientes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fernando Morientes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Morientes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silban Gala having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Eufemio Sobrado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Morientes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silban Gala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Silvano Paz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berriotxoa Portillo went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ganix Villalcazar's late challenge caught a Monkey Wrench TEAM OFF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ganix Villalcazar helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Tavernoles got a freekick which was hit by Ganix Villalcazar. Berriotxoa Portillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Paz having to interfere. Fernando Morientes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Silban Gala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Morientes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fernando Morientes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Monkey Wrench TEAM OFF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
