Rosendo Cuadrado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Griego, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Geofredo Pais made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Tomás Quintero sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Casas De Juan Fernandez booed when Benidorm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evarado Briso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Benidorm's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Perez came free, but Rosendo Cuadrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evarado Briso charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evarado Briso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Casas De Juan Fernandez got a freekick which was hit by Hanni Alcaraz. Quintan Rosario, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 22nd minute, Benidorm's Justin Fuentes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geofredo Pais. Geofredo Pais yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Benidorm getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lalo Gonzáles hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Benidorm's Lalo Gonzáles got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Evarado Briso kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Justin Fuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Casas De Juan Fernandez getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. César Hevia hit a great ball. Rosendo Cuadrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Perez in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Perez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Federico Perez struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Rosendo Cuadrado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casas De Juan Fernandez. In the 54th minute, Justin Fuentes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomás Quintero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geofredo Pais having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Tomás Quintero notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Casas De Juan Fernandez's Geofredo Pais. Geofredo Pais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Teo Olmos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geofredo Pais showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Federico Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Cuadrado having to interfere. Benidorm's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
