Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Guidetti in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 5 minutes of play, PKS Marymont Warszawa's Téo Queiroz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Leon Kieca fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PKS Marymont Warszawa's protests and gave Leon Kieca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind PKS Marymont Warszawa's goalkeeper Gustaw Golembiewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Dominik Zawada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastian Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominik Zawada went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Guidetti in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Guidetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Queiroz in the 52nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of PKS Marymont Warszawa booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Téo Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustaw Golembiewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 59th minute of play. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Guillermo Mariano with Tomas Illescas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 72nd minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominik Zawada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Golembiewski having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
