The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmelo Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Montez Tobia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Montez Tobia could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Tipi Mangas however easily saved by the left post. 64 minutes into the match, Carmelo Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcio Barral. Balares's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 67th minute, Carmelo Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The yecla cf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 93 played minutes yecla cf got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Blakewell. Lluis Duran got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The yecla cf fans cheered their team off the field, for while Balares had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
