After a rather tough play, yecla cf's Carmelo Freire got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute, Leizarraga Orbiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TARGOVISTE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Carmelo Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Bautista Cabrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Leizarraga Orbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tipi Mangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The yecla cf fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when yecla cf's Poulus Semell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tipi Mangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lia Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Garaona Sánchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ospin Esperta in the 46th minute of play forced yecla cf's goalkeeper Tipi Mangas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Carmelo Freire made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, one of yecla cf:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. yecla cf:s Tipi Mangas showed great skill when he stopped Casildo Coya:s penalty. After some careless play in the yecla cf defense, Casildo Coya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tipi Mangas. The yecla cf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tipi Mangas should have stopped the shot. Ospin Esperta came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tipi Mangas could save by the left post. In the 63rd minute, Carmelo Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desiderio Rajoi kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Bautista Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Freire in the 75th minute of play forced TARGOVISTE's goalkeeper Bautista Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bautista Cabrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carmelo Freire came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the yecla cf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Freire couldn't finish the play. Tipi Mangas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leizarraga Orbiz's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. TARGOVISTE's Padro Jofre shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 98th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tipi Mangas but with some difficulty. The yecla cf fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TARGOVISTE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
