But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albi Clos couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Emilio Castillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabel Diez in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oriche Rojas saved Los Alces from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Los Alces:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valdemoro C.F.:s goal. If Henric Mayol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Los Alces's zone, Bernabel Diez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oriche Rojas came out of the goal and Bernabel Diez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Alces's Oriche Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabel Diez in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicholas Ponce during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Nicholas Ponce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Los Alces getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nicholas Ponce hit a great ball. Oriche Rojas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henric Mayol, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Castillo made a kick off. If Emilio Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Los Alces's Albi Clos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarías Lozano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alejandro Casas's late challenge caught a Los Alces's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Los Alces's Oriche Rojas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Los Alces from getting a goal against them. Alejandro Casas was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Los Alces were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
