Moncho Balcells made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleón Fuente in the 10th minute of play. Román Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Román Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Román Ortiz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Mikel Esperta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moncho Balcells having to interfere. When Rey Poxo's Mikel Esperta in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Moncho Balcells stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Napoleón Fuente's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. If Mikel Esperta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. QUIEN TE LLENA DE SALAMI's Moncho Balcells played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleón Fuente in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Napoleón Fuente in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moncho Balcells prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 played minutes Rey Poxo got a freekick which was hit by Mikel Esperta. After 36 played minutes Rey Poxo got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Alarcon. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose-Luis Balcells stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rey Poxo's Mikel Esperta got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 58 minutes on the clock, Hanot Fuente commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. QUIEN TE LLENA DE SALAMI's Bahiano Barrios got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose-Luis Balcells in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gitano De Toro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beti Vallejo charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beti Vallejo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rey Poxo's Beti Vallejo got a free kick in the 87th minute.
