With a little luck, Pelerta UD's Derwin Mendez got control of the ball when Hechter Baeza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aitor Raya hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Gregorio Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Figueres CF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pelerta UD.
