When Bibiano Galdamez fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eguilaz CF's protests and gave Bibiano Galdamez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Playa De San Andrés AFC booed when Eguilaz CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bibiano Galdamez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Valentín Sánchez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eguilaz CF's Pericles Vilanova got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Playa De San Andrés AFC's zone, Pericles Vilanova stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Colillas came out of the goal and Pericles Vilanova tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Playa De San Andrés AFC's Fernan Colillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidencio Prieto in the 22nd minute of play. If Pericles Vilanova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Eguilaz CF's Pericles Vilanova in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Playa De San Andrés AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Eguilaz CF booed when Playa De San Andrés AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Pericles Vilanova got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernan Colillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bibiano Galdamez in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Playa De San Andrés AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pericles Vilanova came free, but Fernan Colillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otero Sobrado struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Valentín Sánchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Playa De San Andrés AFC. Edelmiro Benítez hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Celedonio Barro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Playa De San Andrés AFC's Edelmiro Benítez tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ximo Moya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Valentín Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Valentín Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otero Sobrado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pericles Vilanova in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Colillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bibiano Galdamez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernan Colillas having to make a save. Pericles Vilanova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Colillas having to interfere. In the 74thth minute of the game Pericles Vilanova who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa De San Andrés AFC's Fernan Colillas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Playa De San Andrés AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pericles Vilanova came free, but Fernan Colillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Eguilaz CF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Playa De San Andrés AFC.
