Eguilaz CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidencio Prieto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baiardo Jaraba kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Fidencio Prieto came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Eguilaz CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidencio Prieto couldn't finish the play. U.D. CAN TRIAS's Dario Carceles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pericles Vilanova in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Edgardo Taules shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dario Carceles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. U.D. CAN TRIAS's Feliu Pacheco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Eguilaz CF. In the 23rd minute, Beturian Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentín Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Muelas in the 24th minute of play. When U.D. CAN TRIAS's Sebastián Muelas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eguilaz CF's goalie prevented a goal. Fidencio Prieto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Carceles having to interfere. Pericles Vilanova was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Eguilaz CF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fidencio Prieto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dario Carceles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nesto Verdeja hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Eguilaz CF's Celedonio Barro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dario Carceles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Valentín Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Muelas in the 46th minute of play. Dario Carceles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pericles Vilanova in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pericles Vilanova made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, U.D. CAN TRIAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nesto Verdeja to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to U.D. CAN TRIAS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Zeruko Ponce hit a great ball. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind U.D. CAN TRIAS's goalkeeper Dario Carceles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pericles Vilanova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Navarro Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Valentín Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Carceles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidencio Prieto in the 70th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes U.D. CAN TRIAS got a freekick which was hit by Belisario Vila. Eguilaz CF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing U.D. CAN TRIAS to leave the ground with a draw.
