Mauricio Camino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bitxintxo Sabina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turi Campello having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Langileros got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Andres. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Amadeo Font managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcalá De Henares's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Font was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turi Campello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fidencio Feal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. Miliano Benedicto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Alcalá De Henares's Bitxintxo Sabina made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xulian Bravo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miliano Benedicto in the 42nd minute of the match. Langileros's Miliano Benedicto got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xulian Bravo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hector-Luis Calderon. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
