The referee ignored U.D Vistabella's protests and gave Naldo Sevilla a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, U.D Vistabella's Naldo Sevilla got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txema Sierra in the 6th minute of play forced U.D Vistabella's goalkeeper Amarante Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Clemente might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amarante Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Clemente ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, U.D Vistabella's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Clemente came free, but Amarante Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Txema Sierra in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amarante Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anakoz Alacuart hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes, Anakoz Alacuart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U.D Vistabella and the Cerro De Los Angeles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucila Camaño, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Txema Sierra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U.D Vistabella's Amarante Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cerro De Los Angeles's Sabin Leyva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Cerreri in the 27th minute of play. Txema Sierra struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Amarante Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerro De Los Angeles. If Santiago Clemente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, U.D Vistabella's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Clemente came free, but Amarante Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Txema Sierra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severiano Riba struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. U.D Vistabella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerro De Los Angeles the free kick. In the 65th minute, Amado Casas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Severiano Riba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U.D Vistabella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Severiano Riba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Santiago Clemente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cerro De Los Angeles booed when U.D Vistabella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position.
