Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Facinas's Gelacio Bacete started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Facinas defense, Sofronio Urbina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fran Gimeno. The Facinas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fran Gimeno should have stopped the shot. Ramón Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Duarte during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Facinas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! In the 22nd minute, Ramos Figueroa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramos Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fran Gimeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Facinas's Fran Gimeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladio Villar in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Ramos Figueroa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RCDEspanyol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 37 minutes into the match, Facinas's goal looked a bit too open when Ramos Figueroa came free, but Fran Gimeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fran Gimeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtzi Camara in the 38th minute of play. Urtzi Camara scored 0-5 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fran Gimeno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramos Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fran Gimeno having to interfere. When Urtzi Camara came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the RCDEspanyol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtzi Camara couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Isidro Azofra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Facinas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RCDEspanyol were winning 0-5.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramos Figueroa to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Facinas's Fran Gimeno got control of the ball when Sofronio Urbina tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ramos Figueroa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fran Gimeno was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 57th play minutes Ramos Figueroa shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Fran Gimeno and just under the crossbar into goal. Fran Gimeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramos Figueroa's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, Carlitos De la Torre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Facinas's goalkeeper Fran Gimeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramos Figueroa. In the 76th minute Rubén Canyelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Fuster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nemesio Bouzas fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RCDEspanyol's protests and gave Nemesio Bouzas a yellow card for diving instead. 86 minutes into the match, Ramos Figueroa notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Facinas's Fran Gimeno. Fran Gimeno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute, Ramos Figueroa made a precise shot to the right of Fran Gimeno. Facinas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8.
