Diego Zubizarreta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Santander in the 19th minute. With his leg Diego Zubizarreta managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Facinas's Rubén Canyelles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 36th play minute Rubén Canyelles came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Diego Zubizarreta. 1-0. Gelacio Bacete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Diego Zubizarreta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, one of Fontetas CF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fontetas CF. 2-0 came through a penalty shot after 46 played minutes, when Facinas:s Alejandro Quintanilla calmly waited for Fontetas CF:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Gelacio Bacete made the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Rubén Canyelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fontetas CF's Diego Zubizarreta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelacio Bacete in the 58th minute of play forced Fontetas CF's goalkeeper Diego Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Zubizarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelacio Bacete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Cesareo Mezquita fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fran Gimeno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesareo Mezquita in the 69th minute. Horacio Hidalgo's late challenge caught a Facinas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Hidalgo helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Fontetas CF got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Hidalgo. If Teodosio Santander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fontetas CF's Diego Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelacio Bacete in the 86th minute of play. Teodosio Santander charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Santander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fontetas CF booed when Facinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Santander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fontetas CF's Horacio Hidalgo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Facinas. Facinas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
