The Arroyo CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Encinares FC defense, Chan Puig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meder Cardeñosa. The Encinares FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meder Cardeñosa should have stopped the shot. Ekhi Barrientos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 27 played minutes Encinares FC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Revuelta. Arroyo CF's Feliciano Olano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekhi Barrientos in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute, Cirilo Revuelta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Encinares FC's Meder Cardeñosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chan Puig in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Encinares FC's Germán Sacristán sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliciano Olano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Arroyo CF's goalkeeper Feliciano Olano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germán Sacristán.

If Germán Sacristán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ekhi Barrientos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Olano having to interfere. Bermudo Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Meder Cardeñosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germán Sacristán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Arroyo CF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
