Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Edgardo Mata fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Polifemo Vilanova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tarragona FC booed when Vimenor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beltza Carballeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adulfo Cameno acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Xaiver Delgado. Adulfo Cameno came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Tarragona FC's Edgardo Mata. But to his dismay, Edgardo Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Polifemo Vilanova blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adulfo Cameno having to make a save. 27 minutes into the match, Vimenor's goalkeeper Adulfo Cameno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Mata. In the 28th minute, Polifemo Vilanova got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Polifemo Vilanova's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adulfo Cameno was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Polifemo Vilanova struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Adulfo Cameno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarragona FC. The audience was convinced that Polifemo Vilanova's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adulfo Cameno was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When Beltza Carballeira fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vimenor's protests and gave Beltza Carballeira a yellow card for diving instead. Tarragona FC's Xaiver Delgado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vimenor. In the 42nd minute, Godofredo Alavedra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efren Briso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Godofredo Alavedra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Efren Briso having to make a save.

Adulfo Cameno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polifemo Vilanova, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Elvis Sierra kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Edgardo Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Vimenor's goal looked a bit too open when Polifemo Vilanova came free, but Adulfo Cameno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Tarragona FC's Efren Briso got control of the ball when Maximino Bajo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgardo Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adulfo Cameno having to interfere. If Edgardo Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Mata might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adulfo Cameno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Mata ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th match minute, Vimenor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beltza Carballeira to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Mata struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Adulfo Cameno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarragona FC. A collision led to Tarragona FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Pere Harroyo hit a great ball. Polifemo Vilanova blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adulfo Cameno having to make a save. Adulfo Cameno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polifemo Vilanova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Beltza Carballeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Polifemo Vilanova in the 86th minute of play forced Vimenor's goalkeeper Adulfo Cameno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Polifemo Vilanova made a precise shot to the right of Adulfo Cameno. Vimenor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Edgardo Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Adulfo Cameno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vimenor's zone, Polifemo Vilanova stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adulfo Cameno came out of the goal and Polifemo Vilanova tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Edgardo Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarragona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Mata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Polifemo Vilanova blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adulfo Cameno having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tarragona FC fully deserved thier win.
