The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Furman Marquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Cabrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Furman Marquez ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macias Lara in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Cabrera saved JOCKERS F.C. from getting behind. The supporters of JOCKERS F.C. booed when Calostro CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Ibanez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Calostro CF's goal looked a bit too open when Jose-Juan Casanova came free, but Melkor Soto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose-Juan Casanova received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Melkor Soto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Ramirez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Calostro CF's Julio Ramirez got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jose-Juan Casanova scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melkor Soto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Naldo Ibanez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felipe Cabrera. JOCKERS F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Solustiano Echeto fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JOCKERS F.C.'s protests and gave Solustiano Echeto a yellow card for diving instead. Solustiano Echeto hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 58th minute Jose-Juan Casanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melkor Soto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes, JOCKERS F.C.'s Agamenón Herrera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melkor Soto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JOCKERS F.C. reached it. Melkor Soto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Carrasco in the 63rd minute of play. When Jose-Juan Casanova came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the JOCKERS F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose-Juan Casanova couldn't finish the play. In the 64th match minute, Calostro CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match Agamenón Herrera sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melkor Soto skillfully saved the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Macias Lara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felipe Cabrera. Macias Lara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Felipe Cabrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Furman Marquez in the 71st minute. Furman Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Cabrera having to interfere. After some careless play in the JOCKERS F.C. defense, Furman Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Cabrera. The JOCKERS F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Cabrera should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Calostro CF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Julio Ramirez hit a great ball. When Baltasar Carrasco came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the JOCKERS F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Carrasco couldn't finish the play. Furman Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Cabrera having to interfere. Melkor Soto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Carrasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Furman Marquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Felipe Cabrera when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
