The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Baldomero Gibert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melkor Soto. Calostro CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomero Gibert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Cutberto Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macias Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Xalvador Pareja lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Melkor Soto. Montecarmelo CF's Mykyta Pidvalnyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macias Lara in the 20th minute of play. Mykyta Pidvalnyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macias Lara in the 22nd minute of the match. Xalvador Pareja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melkor Soto having to interfere. Cutberto Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Calostro CF's goal looked a bit too open when Cutberto Santos came free, but Melkor Soto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mykyta Pidvalnyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macias Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Xalvador Pareja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Xuaco Babia came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Montecarmelo CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xuaco Babia couldn't finish the play. Melkor Soto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xalvador Pareja in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Calostro CF defense, Xalvador Pareja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melkor Soto. The Calostro CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melkor Soto should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Macias Lara to make the kick off. José Marcilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Villalcazar kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Calostro CF's Macias Lara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mykyta Pidvalnyi. That made the score 3-2 after 60 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Calostro CF's zone, José Marcilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melkor Soto came out of the goal and José Marcilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Calostro CF's goal looked a bit too open when Xalvador Pareja came free, but Melkor Soto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Gómez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melkor Soto having to interfere. Melkor Soto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cutberto Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Melkor Soto came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Montecarmelo CF's Cutberto Santos. But to his dismay, Cutberto Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 83rdth minute of the game Xalvador Pareja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calostro CF's Melkor Soto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Calostro CF defense, José Marcilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melkor Soto. The Calostro CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melkor Soto should have stopped the shot. When Montecarmelo CF's Xalvador Pareja in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calostro CF's goalie prevented a goal. José Marcilla's late challenge caught a Calostro CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Marcilla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, José Marcilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Cutberto Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melkor Soto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2.
