Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Olveiroa's Ferrando Ricoy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osoro Lopez. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ferrando Ricoy could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Osoro Lopez however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Izar Nobo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Poli Lastras was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Villar De Cuevas FC's Osoro Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herberto Quevedo in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Izar Nobo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Olveiroa's Poli Lastras. Poli Lastras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Herberto Quevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osoro Lopez. Villar De Cuevas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herberto Quevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
After having played for 52 minutes, Ferrando Ricoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olveiroa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferrando Ricoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 played minutes Villar De Cuevas FC got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Zárate. In the 59th minute, Ferrando Ricoy made a precise shot to the right of Osoro Lopez. Villar De Cuevas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Baudilio Esteban hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Osoro Lopez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferrando Ricoy's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. When Olveiroa's Ferrando Ricoy in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 78 played minutes Villar De Cuevas FC got a freekick which was hit by Llope Marrero. Osoro Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferrando Ricoy in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Villar De Cuevas FC booed when Olveiroa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Bouzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osoro Lopez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferrando Ricoy's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferrando Ricoy in the 89th minute of play forced Villar De Cuevas FC's goalkeeper Osoro Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ferrando Ricoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olveiroa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferrando Ricoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osoro Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
