After 43 minutes, Honorio Menendez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buera and the Olveiroa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ospin Montiel to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Buera's zone, Ferrando Ricoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Zapater came out of the goal and Ferrando Ricoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herberto Quevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Zapater having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Olveiroa's Ferrando Ricoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dino Zapater narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dino Zapater didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. In the 91st match minute, Olveiroa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Bouzas to maneuver through the defense. Herberto Quevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Dino Zapater tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buera's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Herberto Quevedo scored to the left of an out of position Dino Zapater, making the score, 0-4.
