Nel Reyes hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Urnieta's Geofredo Casero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Urnieta from getting a goal against them. Geofredo Casero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Guasch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th match minute, Poveda De La Obispalia UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feijo Dorado to maneuver through the defense. Leizarraga Ladra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Geofredo Casero made a huge save. Jorge Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xandro Villafane in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Urnieta's goal looked a bit too open when Nerio Mata came free, but Geofredo Casero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geofredo Casero was a little too slow when Jon Griego got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Urnieta's goalkeeper Geofredo Casero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jon Griego. After a rather tough play, Urnieta's Padro Llinares got a free kick in the 29th minute. Timo Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Urnieta booed when Poveda De La Obispalia UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feijo Dorado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Urnieta's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Guasch came free, but Geofredo Casero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Xandro Villafane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timo Santiago was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Feijo Dorado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poveda De La Obispalia UD and the Urnieta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes Poveda De La Obispalia UD got a freekick which was hit by Feijo Dorado. In the 56th match minute, Urnieta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nel Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Nel Reyes lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 61 minutes into the game, one of Urnieta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gau Palacios shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 67th minute Nerio Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Casero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geofredo Casero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfino Barrios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Leandro Guasch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Geofredo Casero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Poveda De La Obispalia UD's zone, Padro Llinares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Diaz came out of the goal and Padro Llinares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Urnieta's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Griego came free, but Geofredo Casero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Leandro Guasch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Casero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geofredo Casero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leizarraga Ladra, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Urnieta's Geofredo Casero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nerio Mata in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Jon Griego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Casero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Pardo made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Urnieta's Reimundo Maestro. After a defensive mix-up in Poveda De La Obispalia UD's zone, Avellano Acosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Diaz came out of the goal and Avellano Acosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Leandro Guasch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geofredo Casero was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Guasch in the 99th minute of play forced Urnieta's goalkeeper Geofredo Casero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Poveda De La Obispalia UD fully deserved thier win.
