In the 3rd minute, Naldo Nafría made a precise shot to the right of Geofredo Casero. Urnieta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 8th play minute Gaspar Solana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Geofredo Casero. 2-0. The supporters of Urnieta booed when El Zorongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesario Bargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timo Santiago might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inge Gonzalez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timo Santiago ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Solana got free with Geofredo Casero in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geofredo Casero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesario Bargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Naldo Nafría shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Casero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Negro in the 33rd minute of play forced Urnieta's goalkeeper Geofredo Casero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geofredo Casero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Nafría in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Urnieta's Xandro Villafane got a free kick in the 39th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timo Santiago to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Rolando Negro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Casero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urnieta's Geofredo Casero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Nafría in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Urnieta's Nel Reyes got a free kick in the 57th minute. Geofredo Casero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Nafría in the 61st minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Rami Ricoy in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Urnieta's Nel Reyes. 67 minutes into the game, Rami Ricoy threw the ball into play from the sideline. Urnieta's Nel Reyes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 69th minute Gaspar Solana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Casero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urnieta's Geofredo Casero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesario Bargas in the 71st minute of play. Geofredo Casero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Solana, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Urnieta's Geofredo Casero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Negro in the 82nd minute of play. Polifemo Zabalo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 played minutes El Zorongo got a freekick which was hit by Polifemo Zabalo. In the 88th match minute, Urnieta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reimundo Maestro to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Negro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Naldo Nafría made a precise shot to the right of Geofredo Casero. Urnieta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. There was no doubt that El Zorongo were the better team. El Zorongo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
