If Pedro Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Sevilla in the 13th minute of play forced C&K Brothers's goalkeeper Benigno Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcos Comas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as C&K Brothers's Argenis Martínez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cirino Griful. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. If Pedro Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in C&K Brothers's zone, Sebastián Sevilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Mendez came out of the goal and Sebastián Sevilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Quiroga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sebastián Sevilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Mendez having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Quiroga was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Casa Del Lairón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graciano Verdeja to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Mendez made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Sebastián Sevilla sent off a good shot on target. If Argenis Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Marcos Comas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C&K Brothers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Comas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sebastián Sevilla came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Casa Del Lairón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastián Sevilla couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Marcos Comas managed to get in a good position for a shot. C&K Brothers's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Comas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirino Griful breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hector Gala hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Pepito Beloki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastián Sevilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Benigno Mendez made a huge save. If Pedro Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Casa Del Lairón AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C&K Brothers throughout the match.
